This video helped me out with a keyboard connector and now i want to see if the heat does not lift the tape so 🤞🤞 It worked and what i also did was put some double sided tape on the cable to make sure it does not move so its secure on top as well on the bottom.

If you would take a video of what you are actually doing instead of your chin it would help.

thank you , all I had to do was re seat the connector at the back of the screen and it worked again

Does anyone know if WP screw is facing up when you take the bottom cover or do you have to take a deep dive to access it? Some are on under side of MB. Thanks

Buenas tardes amigo tengo una laptop igual a la que mencionas en el vídeo pero en la pantalla primaria por decirlo de esa manera, está como que gris, si se ve lo que hay en el escritorio pero digamos que hay un ligero ensañamiento, como se puede solucionar. Saludos.

At the point where the connector is removed, a little after 2:31, it was stuck so firmly that the part connected to the mobo came off instead of the connector coming out of it. Not sure what to do now. I'm sure I've already voided my warranty and I don't imagine I can get something like this repaired for less than the cost of a chromebook. o.o;;

So do I need to apply adhesive to reattach the LCD screen to the back cover? I reassembled my flex 4 1470 after swapping a bad display cable and noticed the screen isn't attached to the back cover. It just flops forward when I have my laptop lid half closed.

HP is stupid to be honest. My trackpad isn't working after I did this teardown. I connected it back but it's still not working.

Screen fractured on this unit, and it won't even boot up to external HDMI. No go at all. I can't get at tons of data I wish I had there.. what a piece of crap

I would use a gorilla type tape or the glue gun.

This video would be much more helpful if you could explain how to remove and take the LCD apart.
